Very portable 24/96 interface?

Yeah... I'm looking for a super-portable 24/96 interface that I can throw in a backpack with my Macbook. I'm fine with 24/48 audio quality but the reason I like to work at 96khz is to keep the latency as low as possible. This is basically so I can play guitar into Live and monitor the effects of Amp...

Deft I ordered Pod XT Live today. I think you can demo the Gearbox VST plug-in with it. My understanding is that you can hook the XTL up to your PC via USB, control the sound it from within the plug-in, and have the XTL handle the DSP for the input track. Thanks for the reply. I need to get this today or tomorrow, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Not going to go passive, probably will have far too many things plugged in for that. This would be more worthwhile if this thing actually had a name printed on it, but for what it's worth, I have a...

I bought a Belkin USB hub and had trouble with it. Same one I think you're referring to, round shape. I returned it to Best Buy. I have a no-name Chinese USB hub, passive, works great.

GR definitely has some sweet features like the modulation devices... however, I just discovered Line 6 Gearbox / Toneport today... looks very cool. One really nice aspect is ultra-low latency monitoring through the Gearbox plug-in effects... may currently be the only way to get ultra-low latency thr...

Can you achieve 'zero' latency monitoring via Toneport when using Gearbox as an in-line plugin within Ableton Live?
