Arpeggiator

When working in Arrangement view and drawing Arpeggiator Rate values, it'd seem more logical if the denser, faster Rates 1/32, 1/48, 1/64 etc. were higher (visually) and the slower values 1/8, 1/4 lower. Faster rhythms tend to draw attention, so up seems more logical. Ok, taking off the pointy ears ...

Pedal to modulate different effects independently?

Hi, this is probably somewhere in the forum, but I can't seem to find the answer. I'm trying to set up an expression pedal to control different modulations in multiple tracks. I can get it to work on singular tracks, or it will modulate everything it is midi linked to across multiple tracks - what I ...

Re: Visual Metronome

Hi all, thanks for the replies, I have a launchpad - is there a way to make it light up back and forth in succession in time with the metronome? (Not just 2 lights, but across the eight - like a cylon eye?) This midi-ness is out of my league... TIA, Ed

Visual Metronome

Hi, just a minor wish but I would like to have a more visual metronome, like a swing arm or a back and forth light or something, and also an option to make it bigger. Right now I find it a bit difficult to anticipate beats musically. Thanks ~ !

Hey thanks everyone

I've had my head buried in our set and just checked in, thanks to everyone for the posts! I really appreciate it, it does turn out that most of my gear is compatible for overseas, I did buy a converter though for the things I am not sure about. I will take plug adapters, however I'm not sure about ...

Playing in Germany, voltage converter recommendations?

Hi, we're traveling to Germany next week to perform and it just occurred to me that we will need a voltage converter(s) (all our stuff is for US). I have a Allen Heath mixer, three controllers (2 of which are USB powered), two laptops, sound card, external pci device and a micro mixer.

So the ...

Ethernet seems to cause "hiccup" in jamming with 2

Hi - we jam with 2 Macs that are synced via ethernet, we're running latest software versions. Just once in a while we've noticed a "hiccup", where the sound stops momentarily and then resumes, I'm not sure if it's ethernet related, but it does only seem to happen when we're synced up. Anyone have ...

multiple open windows?

Hey, just an idea and I don't know if everyone who's using a Mac also thinks so, but it might be cool to be able to open multiple windows of the same project to take advantage of Leopard's "Spaces", for instance in one space one might have a portion of the tracks, in another space a different ...

channels not passing audio, anyone having this problem?

Hi, weirdest problem but since upgrading, I have channels that just stop working, samples are triggered and no sound or indication in the faders, anyone else having this problem? I have to replace the tracks with new ones to get them to work again.

I've got a PCR-50 that I've had for nearly four years. The keys started to die mid last year so I bought this:

Small Keypad Repair Kit

And repaired each keypad (there are two points for each key). Has felt brand new ever since.

BTW, don't try to 'clean' the rubber keypads. If you do, your ...

Where to get reviewed?

Hi Everyone, anyone know of a list of places or something like that that is good for submitting a first album for review? Or just places you might have had some good responses from? We make primarily electronic music with vocals, this is our first project and we are unknown so we're interested in ...

simple sample editor for Mac?

Hey, does anyone know of just a simple sample editor for Mac, or of a sample editor that'll allow one to go into the sample and pencil in waves? I have one sample that's got a pop in it, or any program that'll repair a pop. Any freewares out there? Thanks a lot! Have a good weekend all ~ Ed
