cool vid. what did you record and edit on? did you warp the video in Live at all? i like the lead sound a lot, but felt like the bass needed to be a little heavier too. that could be just my personal preference though - it's not really my style of expertise. The drums works well, but i felt like ...

nice funky bassline, but the kick needs more weight or balanced better with it or something. i like the lyrics, but then i'm a sucker for them crazy monkeys.

nice groove. i like that bass sound as well as the second lead that comes in around 1:55. the only ting I'd say is that it could be edited down slightly. a couple of the breakdowns seem to take a bit long to get broken down if that makes sense, but every time it builds and things kick back in it's ...

nice piece. i liked the pace of the changes and it flowed from beginning to end. definitely a nice atmospheric track as are all the tracks you have up. could be these crappy headphones i'm on at the moment, but i felt the dums could have been a little punchier.

just a bump - I posted my first piece of music on my new blog:

http://tribemindrecords.blogspot.com

it was done in Live with Reason providing the bass and orchestral sounds, Erratic 2 the drums, and my trusty Les Paul the guitars. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

it is overkill in some ways. There are times it's nice to have the separation between the track and the clip if say, you decide you want to switch out a drum loop but want to keep the same automation (which is what the lock envelopes function was for), but it would be awesome if there was a simple ...

Are you trying to copy automation from a clip envelope or a track envelope? If it's the former I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. If you want to copy automation from the track try this:

1. use the "+" to move the automation to its own lane.
2. select the portion of automation you want and copy it ...

Personally I use Reason together with Live and I don't see anything in the Suite that I don't have in Reason or a refill. I haven't used Operator, but Thor is about all the synth I can handle, and to me sounds like it would match most of your influences. The NN-XT is still my favorite sampler over ...
