You can the indexer spinning in “Places” but in my case is doesn’t take long at all. My other and most pressing issue is Live freezing on start up. I have reset live 3 or 4 times and re installed Windows…. Now I just put my pc to sleep with Live running!

I have been dealing with this spiking CPU forever. I even reinstalled windows, have been checking with Process Explorer, increased buffer size etc, All that to ask is there a way to load an Audio track into RAM? I have 64 of those doing not much!! I have a BCR2000 and it always shows up three times in preferences and elsewhere.. BCR2000, BCR2000 (1) and BCR2000 (2) Bit of a newbie to Midi ports etc. any thoughts advice would be awesome. I do have midi ox but am a bit of a newbie there also!!!

I was doing some midi mapping using my foot pedals for Record Play Stop etc. Now every time I adjust Track Fader 8 it activates the stop button! Thanks all. I just discovered something. My frustration was that I could not get an audio clip dialog box to appear. I then discovered, by chance, that I had to rename the track in the MIXER Section as well. As soon as I did that VOILA the dialog box opened. Thankyou all so much
