In Ableton Live, the last Nanokontrol fader automatically controls the volume of the Kontakt player on a midi track in CC mode, is there a way or configuration to stop this happening?
The Korg editor doesn't recgnise the device btw.

Notation - Copying midi data to Sibelius?
Is it possible to create a midi track and copy some of that data into Sibelius for notation? If this is not possible are there any other programs out there the can turn a track/clip into music notation?

Re: Volume - Getting the final mix as loud as other music I hear
Try throwing the built in audio effect rack preset called "full chain master" on your master track
Oh man, that's it!!!! I got the expensive Waves mastering SSL plugins but they didn't do the job, I 'threw' this on like you said, and with the Ovrdrive Drive knob, bang(!!!) it did it! Full power ...

Re: DAW with piano roll for Android?
Cool, thanks guys. Nothing has fitting exactly what I need, would be nice to have a realish sounding piano on Caustic 2 but anyway that seems the best app out there for what I want so I'll download that.
What a great forum, this is by far the best forums for a good response.

Re: DAW with piano roll for Android?
Yep, just a simple sequencer with piano sounds and the piano roll, nothing too fancy.

Re: DAW with piano roll for Android?
I know TouchDAW but it's a DAW controller but not a DAW or piano roll in itself unfortunately

DAW with piano roll for Android?
I'm looking for a very simple DAW app for my Samsung Note 2 that has a piano roll so that I can put down my ideas when I'm not at home then take them into Ableton, whether by wifi or simply recreating the ideas again.

Re: Making Ambient Music (tips, methods, workflow, etc)
Ping Pong definitely did it for me :P . It added to the feeling and place I had in mind.
That's great! You definately need it.
Check out Keith Kenniff's stuff, he's a modern ambient/downtempo genius and you'll learn a lot from him, check out his Soundcloud and 'Helios' project stuff on his site ...

Volume - Getting the final mix loud - SOLVED
When I mix out my track so that the levels don't peak and the volume lands on the 0.0db line, even though I use compressors and limiters, the volume is always less of other music I have on disk or on Soundcloud.
How do you get the volume louder without distortion?

Recording after you have pressed the stop button...
Ableton is really cool that when you have track with reverbs and delay and you stop playing, you get a really nice after effect of the delays sounding for a short time.
Is there a way in Ableton to record this after you have pressed the stop button? Or is there a way to do this without stopping ...
