Thanks for the tip on Keyboard Maestro.. i had been looking at this option, too, and might have to go this way.
And yes, a user definable list for most if not all Live's inherent commands, would allow for a smoother workflow - for any and all usage scenarios, whether in studio or live applications ...

This did work for me, at least in respect of Ableton now retaining my template set and stopping the automatic switching back to allow for "automatic updates", in the settings..
Now, i'm not sure if this relates to the same problem (it did start at the same time ...

Same exact problem, i.e. Ableton 10 crashing on launch with Apple's "program unexpectedly quit" message..
I actually went ahead upgrading from Standard to Suite, thinking a new install might get rid off any corrupt files.. no joy!

before i learned how to do warp on multiple clips at once, i usually just warped the 1st one, saved the als, duplicated the als and renamed it with the name of the other files

Have been running 8.1.4 for a few days now, and am shocked to have to say, it's the least stable update i have ever installed :(
