Re: Hotkeys for Linking and unlinking Tracks

Thanks for the tip on Keyboard Maestro.. i had been looking at this option, too, and might have to go this way.
And yes, a user definable list for most if not all Live's inherent commands, would allow for a smoother workflow - for any and all usage scenarios, whether in studio or live applications ...

Re: [SOLVED] "Live Unexpectedly quit..." message for no reason

Thanks for the heads up, @RedSkyRoad!
This did work for me, at least in respect of Ableton now retaining my template set and stopping the automatic switching back to allow for "automatic updates", in the settings..

Now, i'm not sure if this relates to the same problem (it did start at the same time ...

Re: "Live Unexpectedly quit..." message for no reason

Hi,

Same exact problem, i.e. Ableton 10 crashing on launch with Apple's "program unexpectedly quit" message..

I actually went ahead upgrading from Standard to Suite, thinking a new install might get rid off any corrupt files.. no joy!
Tried cloning back files from a recent backup.. (noticing that ...

Re: COPY WARP MARKERS TO MULTIPLE SAMPLES (Arrangement View)

before i learned how to do warp on multiple clips at once, i usually just warped the 1st one, saved the als, duplicated the als and renamed it with the name of the other files
then i loaded the files that all took the original markers(and image) and reversed them, saved them and re opened them to ...

Re: COPY WARP MARKERS TO MULTIPLE SAMPLES (Arrangement View)

Thanks for the steps, so this is to make all tracks the same BPM so they play in time right?
You're welcome. In regard to your question, this is one method (not the only one, as you can readily see by Muzik 4 Machines reply) to copy the existing Warp Markers of one clip to other clips, in order to ...

COPY WARP MARKERS TO MULTIPLE SAMPLES (Arrangement View)

Ableton Live (version 8 ... probably some older versions, too)

After having spent one too many times trying to remember exactly how i had done this the last time i needed to, without making a mistake (which could lead to having to re-consolidate or other such time-consuming nonesense) i wrote ...

I have reinstalled the old version as a result of too many crashes while in the middle of a production!

Re: Live 8.1.4 is released

Good Morning and thanks for your reply Amaury,

i sent my last (and 7th) Bug Report in last night (to [email protected])..
While i have mentioned that i'd appreciate any clues, i haven't so far received a reply (no criticism implied!), and
since i find myself in the middle of album production, i ...

Have been running 8.1.4 for a few days now, and am shocked to have to say, it's the least stable update i have ever installed :(

I sent in about 4 Bug Reports yesterday alone.. with crashes at least once an hour, while not ...
