Would you give it a rest? No one is interested in a 3rd party messageboard which requires datamining in order to view a single message.

Re: Looper completely broken for me

Thanks Christian. I did get a prompt response from support. The problem sorted itself in the end. I wish I knew why. Guru, BFD2, and ezdrummer are still incompatible(AU) with 8.03 for me, but that's another thread. I've contacted support, but other than a confirmation email, I haven't heard from the...

Re: Looper is hating on me.

http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=115813 Don't know what to tell you. I had the same problem. It would play about the first 1/2 of the loop, then play silence unless I had previously recorded with the looper. In this case it would play an old buffer. I could reproduce in 8.03. I contacted...

Re: how do you correct DC offset?

Hi-pass filter at 10-20hz and you'll get rid of it. Then find out why you're recording with DC. You don't want to be.

I've contacted support, but other than a confirmation email, I haven't heard from them.

This problem is very reproducible on my machine.

Re: SAM ASH....never again

Ditto. I ordered an APC from them, but I'm really tired of getting calls at my work just to see how I'm doing. I vote for Sweetwater as well. They're professional, respectful, and deal with you on a personal level. No BS. I've had this guy over there called David taking care of all my orders for the...

Re: How is Ezdrummer in live 8?

The AU plugin of ezdrummer is incompatible with 8.02. 8.01 works fine. The VST version also works fine in 8.02

Looper completely broken for me

This is killing me. I seem to get the first few beats, then it will just start repeating an old buffer. This is after having cleared the buffer with the clear button. Overdub is OFF Repro: Settings: Record= X bars then green play arrow, song control=none, Tempo control=Set & Follow song tempo, Quant...

8.02 broke ezdrummer compatibility with the AU plugin. The VST is still fine. Can anyone verify this?

8.02 broke ezdrummer compatibility

Can't open my 8.01 projects without ezdrummer giving me an error. Tried, 8.01 again and it's still fine there. I'll update this post with more info(specific error message) at some point. Right now I just want to make music.

Re: SELECTION TOOL!. pleeeease.

Are you sure Ctrl/Cmd clicking them doesn't work? Shift + click is often reserved for contiguous selections. yowzer i see what you mean no, i had always assumed shift clicking individual clips would have selected only those clips. This seems like an epic overlook. Seems it would only take a matter o...

Dude. Rent a movie and sample it. How much easier do you want it? Creating/Finding your sounds should be part of the process.

I've got a TX816 and it sounds better than FM7. I haven't used FM8. I will say FM7 is insanely easy to edit.

I'm pretty sure you're sending program change messages which Live reads as pitchbend. You'll need to send CC or notes. I really wish they'd support program changes, but they don't.

Re: ableton needs to be half the price

Live's a bargain. I won't complain if they drop the price, in fact, I'd be thrilled. That said, they've already got my money for a 7-->8 suite upgrade, so some people are buying it. i think ableton is way over priced in the current credit crunch neeeds to be half the price it is now i know the compa...
