Amplitube VST won't respond to MIDI PC messages from Ableton
I have been dealing with this problem for a few months now without any success and I was wondering if anyone has ran into this issue. The scenario I'm about to describe used to work flawlessly without any hitches, but for some reason a few months ago it stopped working. Also, when I open up the ...

Re: MIDI from 3 controllers to 3 tracks simultaneously
Can you control 'midi channel' on the controllers? Then you can have a channel accept 'Midi Ch. 1' to receive all controllers that transmit from Ch. 1.
Yeah but I'm using MIDI channels to keep my controllers separate because I'm also using the controllers as dedicated controllers for my set, so I ...

Re: MIDI from 3 controllers to 3 tracks simultaneously
About 5 minutes after posting this, I had the obvious revelation that I could just route the output of all my pads tracks to a single MIDI track, and then route input into any/all of the drum tracks. Sitting at your desk and looking at the same software for 4 hours tends to fry your brain. If anyone ...

MIDI from 3 controllers to 3 tracks simultaneously
Hi,
I am working on a set where I would like to have all 3 of my pad controllers control 3 different drum tracks, all at the same time. So the input from each of the pad controllers will be going to all three tracks at the same time. I have a few keyboard controllers, and I want to hook those up to ...

What version of Max do I have?
How do I find out what version of Max I'm currently running? There are multiple versions of Max installed on my computer because I have Live 8 AND Live 9, I just need to know which version runtime is running when I run Live 9. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Re: Any way to start Live 9 by hitting a button on Push?
I think a button would be the most suitable option because many people (I assume) keep their controllers connected and turned on.. right?

Re: Any way to start Live 9 by hitting a button on Push?
Hmm..
Bomes MIDI translator lets you convert MIDI to keystrokes.
AutoHotKey lets you use keystrokes to open programs.
So it's possible, but if you aren't already familiar with these tools it's definitely more trouble than it's worth.
I'm familiar with both those applications, but haven't used ...

Re: Thoughts on Push a few weeks on?
I really feel like a lot things like Native Kontrols stuff should be regular standard push functions
I don't mean to say NK isn't doing awesome stuff,
I just feel many of these functions could've been implemented in Push already.
My biggest gripe is Ableton had one situation for Push to be ...

Re: Any way to start Live 9 by hitting a button on Push?
You can do this easily, you just need to press and hold all 64 pads at the same time then turn each encoder 360 using your nose.

Any way to start Live 9 by hitting a button on Push?
Is is possible to start Live 9 by hitting a button on Push? Granted, it's kind of gimmicky, it would be kinda cool to just hit a button and have it start the Live executable (or the Mac equivalent). Maybe run another program in background that listens on the User mode and turns on Live?

Re: Can you select melodic notes with Push?
There may be a solution to this issue using PXT-Live (Beta) by nativeKontrol. The Beta Testing thread is found at http://beatwise.proboards.com/index.cgi ... hread=1367
Specifically, take a look at the Note Sequence Mode.

Re: Thoughts on Push a few weeks on?
Yeah, that definitely does not seem right. Mine was extremely sensitive right out of the box.
That is definitely a legitimate complaint, and one that I would hope Ableton would be able to rectify
Do you notice similar difficulty in getting aftertouch/pressure to register?
