my new controller-line, the 3rd generation of micromodul controllers is now avaialable.
one of the five new devices is the 4-track-controller FT3 with a live setup.
it's a special design for DJing with Live.

actually I can launch scenes/clips for the first 8 scenes, not 16 (I thought if I switched group numbers it would work)

So only 8 is too few.

you are right...the slot launch buttons are fixed to the first 8 slots in each track.
but it's a cool idea to shift the grid...maybe a feature for the ...

Can you please post details about the Lv1 and Lx1 automapping?


LV1 is pretty clear so far but for the lx1 I was dissapointed to see that scrolling through scenes did not shift the location of the start/stop clip triggers...maybe I am doing something wrong.

LC2 - for all Live-DJ's who need a LV2 with a crossfader
(it's also a superb supplement for LV2 -> 12 trackfaders + 8 encoders + 2 sticks + 18 keys + crossfader)

LD2 - best supplement for LV2/LC2 if you need ...

I expect some inquiries from u.s. reseller in the next months so I hope to solve the shipping cost issue.
48 euro are necessary to have enough insurance (about 500 euro). UPS / FEDEX are much more expensive

absolutely right

if red led is on > the fader is too high and you have to move down
if green led is on > the fader is too low and you have to move up
no light > the fader is in a little window around the LIVE value

the led's show the compares in realtime
so a very fast correction of all fader pos ...

I have a question about the LV2. You said:

Is this what the little ^ symbols beside the red & green LEDs are for? I'm assuming that they guide you in to Live's controller value like a tuning meter while shift is ...

Do they work internally like the old Faderfoxes? Ie, sends different note ons to change tracks, remaps CCs depending on which track is selected etc?

I assuming the do? Ideally one would like to use Mackie Control emulation now. That way you could use the controller without any template at all ...

The picture is slightly misleading, though, as the midi cables would prohibit one from placing them directy in front of the screen like that on a laptop. The cables make it rather unweildy in that scenario. (As is the case with cabling in ALL studio situations...GOD I hate cables.)
