So long my forum friends, well for a couple weeks. Lappy is going back to the factory to have it's cd drive fixed, and assorted tune ups. So I'll be out for a couple weeks, I'll prolly go crazy without live for that long but I still got good old fashioned synths and records.

once you had to get out the tape dat and a microphone and a turntable and record all of it like that then cut it up and manualy stick it in a big ole' clunky sampler that took up half your desk, not that it mattered because all it did was hold the ...

I'm pretty interested in this also. I'd imagine you would have to run your audio back into your soundcard, for shoutcast, or whatever streeaming program your using to be able to pick it up. I have streamed plenty with the decks, but I've yet use ableton, but i'd imagine this is how you would do it ...

i like mine set for toggle so i can hit the same key again to turn the loop off as well

you should put them into your vst folder,

usually c:/program files/steinburg/vst

but you can really put them anywhere you want just keep them all together and in preferences there's the option for custom vst folder, just set that to where ever you decide to put them.

I keep all mine on external ...

either I need a firewire connection, or my controller is bunk, like I said it DID work fine for awhile.
