Yes, you can... BUT remember EVERYONE has those sounds and you will need to do some creative processing or else your samples will be spotted. Nothing ruins a song more for me than when I spot a sample from a sample CD.

If a project uses Liquid Mix, 9 out of 10 times when you load it Live will crash. Once you relaunch Live it will work. I don't know who's fault it is, but I wish it didn't do that.
