I've been wondering the same thing. Is there really still no possibility to slice a audioclip inside the clip view? And I am talking about slicing, not start and end slicing. Sometimes I need to slice to remove noise, but will need everything else, and to spilce them afterwards (which is no prob).

Not sure what I did wrong last night, but it works now on the win 8 pc as it does on the win 7 pc. Oh, well

I just had the chance to try this out on my win 7 pc in the studio, and here it works. Still dont find Leap Motion in the dropdaown of controll surfaces, but selected Loopmidi in the input menu, and then I could map any button to a gesture. Hmm... me thinks this might be a win ...

I just got my Leap Motion, installed Geco and Loopmidi (on windows). But I cant get it to work in Ableton.

Which control surface do I use in preferences?
How do I assing movements to parameters? I have tried to assign movemts to controll macros, but I cant mark a button then do a movement to ...

Ableton, you really should fix issues like this. I mean, this is just plain stupid. And embarrassing form an old dog like this program.

It's actually really embarassing that an old dog as Ableton cant manage to do subfolders proporly. This is one thing I like with Studio One (my main daw). It sorts by it self. Even every effect is put in an own fx folder in the drowser even if its in the main vst folder in the system.

I have allready rescanned. And I cant see how the installation can be wrong seeing as it works fine in Studio One.

But ta, then I know there is now subfolder limit at least

I have a problem. I have installed NI's Supercharger into a subfolder I have called Effects in my 64bit vst folder (called VST64bit), but I cant find it in Ableton afterwords. I have other effects that I see, but not this one. The odd thing is though, that I can both find and use it in ...

I got it fixed through a facebook group I am in. And it didnt install by double clicking. It just opened in Ableton. But ta for respons.

How do I install Live instruments and effects? And the same goes for Max4Live. I have ableton 9.
