Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help.

I am trying to setup up a single drum rack, with the lower 8 pads playing addictive drums (which I can MIDI map), and then use the upper 8 for samples...for live finger drumming purposes on my 16 pad controller and / or Push.

I can't seem to work out how to do this ...

As much as I agree about the actual encoders, I find the knobs a poor fit. When you twist the encoder with a little speed the knobs seem to slip a little on the actual encoder, just due to the resistance. Not sure if you anyone else find ...

Mine does this too. I think it is basically where the encoders are quite stiff and the cap is not gripping enough so it slips a little, causing this clicking.

If I move an encoder slowly this doesn’t happen, only when I’m moving the encoder quicker does it occur.

I find this quite annoying ...

I have updated Push/Live to the most recent version and I'm still having the same crosstalk problems.

Is this the case for everyone else?

Yes - I have also registered the issue with a support ticket.

Mine did/does the same…especially when applying a lot of pressure when moving up and down a pad…it’s ok when playing gently. I adjusted the default first setting in the Sensitivity option on the Push itself to avoid this crosstalk. By default it was as 14, I changed it to 20 (I think this is out of ...

I am using EZDrummer 2 with Push 2. I would like to change the midi mapping to be able to layout the EZDrummer sounds in a better way on the Push for finger drumming reasons.

Unfortunately, EZdrummer does not allow you to change the midi mapping of the notes within the plugin. So is there ...

Thanks rikrak, I'll give those settings a try but not holding out much hope as I tested it a lot over the weekend.

Did you say your pads have improved a little though?

I am definitely having the same inconsistent pad issues - with regards to velocity.

It's really noticeable when playing say a piano gently. When I play a few chords gently, one note at a time - kind of rolling the notes - all of a sudden one note will jump out really loud.

Is this the same issue ...

Load an instance of Analog Lab and choose the preset '28 Brassinfifths' from the Prophet synth
Record a couple of chords as a MIDI track (this preset is a POLY synth not a MONO ...

Thanks for your help yur2die4 - I have read that and numerous others but had no joy. I think I may just stick with my old Oxygen as it auto maps. I was borrowing the A300 from a friend to see if I could get it work.

The next step is to make sure your keyboard is using the same layout/preset as what the script was written for.

Ok great thanks, it's now showing in the list but the controller isn't auto mapping anything....any other ideas would be appreciated...has anyone else got a Roland A-300 Pro working like this?
