Totally agree with a song mode feature. I'm also using a guitar to test different arrangement ideas so I am one hand short from that. Just copy what Circuit Tracks have for song mode. Use one pad for a 4-track pattern and put them together in the preferred order.

I have used Loopo 1.3 for years. Loopo is used with my midi foot control FCB1010.
Everything works fine except that I can't record clips in Session View any longer.
FCB1010 is midi mapped CC10 to 'Loopo 1.3 REC'.
I can see that FCB1010 sends data but nothing happens in Ableton 11.

I have a midi clip with one long note on a midi channel with Rythmizer as a plug-in.
I send that midi signal to another channel with a drum kit.

I have a setup with Ableton, Circuit Tracks, Tascam Model12.
Model 12 is connected to Circuit Tracks via midi.
Both are connected to Ableton via USB.

I have a Model12 mixer and suddenly Ableton wasn't able to receive on USB channel 1-10 any longer.
It only sends on 11/12.
I sent it to repair but they couldn't see that there was problem. They tested it on Logic and received on all channels.

I have wav-files recorded in 44.1 khz with 124 bpm.
When I put them (IOS) in Ableton Live 11 the tempo is much lower - 82.68 bpm.
I have checked my soundcard and preference in Ableton and that is 44.1 khz.

You can do this.
Let's say you have 2 scenes with two clips 4 bars each.
Set the global quantisation (top left corner) to 4 bars.
Start the first scene and trigger the second scene directly then the second scene will wait for the first one to finish.

quite sure that this "new" button only appears when you are in "edit map midi" mode.

No, it's both in edit and standard mode. You can set a midi controller to trigger it.

but what you're asking has never existed.
It existed in version 9:
