I miss orbital

Side chain your hats to your kicks and snares
not much - just a slight dip in volume
gives them a little more dynamic movement and gives your beats a bit more character

IT'll probably be easier than it was on Windows, the only main difference is that the files are located in a different place. There should be no issues though, very straight forward, just drag them back on the HD int he same place when you're done.

I want to move all of my samples and live sets from the internal drive to an external drive
reinstall OSX
then install live etc... and stream all of my samples from the external drive
esentially picking up where I left off.

I would rather the development team spaend their time on the reverb, folders, automation requests tbh

EQ8 is sick!
Reverb takes a bit of grafting but ultimately needs and update
Auto filter is ace but could do with being as tight as the eq8

the mix downs i do in Logic, using the same audio files, sound so much clearer than in ableton
Im usually the one to say its not what you use its your mixing ability
but im using the same mixing knowledge and tools/techniques in both daws and logic just sounds cleaner.
