Re: Help! Other tracks bleeding into audio recordings
Yea, I was just making sure it’s not anything related to headphones. Also can rule out the cable as it’s not even long enough to touch the floor. However, I do notice that if I’m too close and my guitar is facing my laptop I will pick up a hum. I should note, I’m on a laptop and not plugged into an ...

Re: Help! Other tracks bleeding into audio recordings
Thanks for your reply. I have the headphones going through the interface, and have the input and output set to the interface.. so I am hearing everything in my headphones as I record.
I do think maybe I’m monitoring too loudly, however does that matter at all when using headphones? I see you said ...

Help! Other tracks bleeding into audio recordings
I’m currently using Ableton 9, and trying to record some audio tracks directly. For some reason, after recording a new guitar track, I can FAINTlY hear the drums and any other tracks that have been recorded (midi or audio) in the background. Obviously this is preventing me from having a truly clean ...

Recording Rocktron Banshee w Sub Phatty in Ableton?
Hey all. Highly interested in a talk box for use with my Moog Sub Phatty and have a couple questions regarding set up.
As of now when using my sub Phatty or any external inst., I just simply plug in a 1/4 Mogam cable into my interface and record in Ableton. I am very confused as to how to record ...

Artillery2 - Ableton 9
Hi all,
So I decided to purchase Sugar Bytes Artillery2 today but I cannot for the life of me open it in Ableton. It just won't appear under the Plug Ins list, even after I specifically put the system file in the folder where my other plug ins show up.
Everytime I open it Stand alone,, I do notice ...

Re: MIDI performance with Keys
Ok so I love to produce but lately I've been getting into performing a little bit and of course it's awesome. My concern is I write many tracks with a brass sounding lead for kind of funky /or jazzy emphasis. Would you consider it lame or just weird if a dj or an "electronic artist" jammed out ...

Re: MIDI performance with Keys
Just make sure you listen to recordings of your sessions so you can really get an idea for of you're doing it tastefully. It is so easy to get caught up and ruin a vibe with either goofy riffs or accidentally soloing too loudly or who knows.
Do what you want to do. But make sure the thing you ...

Latency/Recording Problem.. Please help
Ok, so I've been using ableton for a minute now mainly for recording massive midi in arrangement view. I dont have a spectacular pc but outside of adjusting the buffer size and what have you, I've never had too harsh of a latency issue. For whatever reason, after messing with some preferences (maybe ...

APC Scene Launch, help!
Ok, So I've picked up an APC40 recently and love it for production aspects. However, I'm having a problem launching a full scene after another one. Only some of the clips will launch and the other will blink and delay before launching. Other times it will just load them in apparent random order even ...
