I had the same issue yesterday with the third pad from the left on the first line after three days of use. I need to contact support as soon as possible. I think the problem is widespread.

A replacement is what they promised. But not a single word on how and when. If its many weeks of waiting please just let me know so i can make a return instead.

Support have acknowledged it’s a hardware fault so the warranty process has started now.

I did attach a video to my case.

Support should be immediate for faulty hardware. If it were a retailer there’d probably be a replacement on its way to you already.

This happened with too many people with Push. It’s such a bad look for Ableton.

Bare with us support traffic is high? They’ve been saying this for months and months ...

I feel your pain. I'm not aware of any way to manually update/reinstall the firmware, but that might solve the issue hopefully.


Thanks - but I strongly suspect hardware ! It varies from failing 80%+ in a session to about 5-10% depending on how you reset the pad (?) - pretty unusable anyway and ...

You'd better off contacting Support , this could be a faulty hardware.

Whilst Move is excellent - is anyone else having hardware issues ? The bottom left pad on mine is already broken - it seems to quite often stay down. Aftertouch works but I cant tap on it. The pads to the right and above also trigger the pad.... bit of a shame it has broken already though.

Yes - but that isnt any version of MIDI. IMany devices dont have Ableton Link built in and they use MIDI sync, clock and transport, rather than Ableton Link. So having Ableton Link on Move doesnt help address the lack of MIDI clock sync - or am I missing an ...

The problem is with the Midi tempo ... especially when trying to sync it with other units that do have correctly configured time signatures relative to tempo. Have I read the manual correctly? Can it only be a MIDI clock leader? It looks like it wont respond to an incoming midi clock… so no sync to an external midi clock. I wonder if it wont respond to midi transport signals either as I cant see mention of that but I dont know. Also unsure if it sends ...
