When ever you have a VST/AU? etc window open you can not use the keyboard to control LIve. For instance Ill be tweaking a sound hit space bar and it wont play again till i click back on the live application window. I hope this wasnt done on purpose. Every time I put a sample into drum rack it is considerably lower volume and sound quality than when I previewed it. I tried turning up the db's and it just sounds worse. Anyone know why or waht I can do about this.

Besides the the instruments is there any difference between the two? The regular upgrade still comes with all the new presets and audio effect racks, etc, right? Just not collision, etc.

I think you might have misunderstood me or maybe me you. But what I meant was after I install solid sounds for instance and I want to use that live pack. Do i have to keep .alp files on my computer in order for the solid sounds live pack to still work? And if i want my 7.012 upgrade to continue ...

.....you install the newer versions and the live packs? Or do I have to keep the .alp files around and my original version of live on my harddrive?

im having this same problem but the sound still kind of comes out crackling but im using a steinberg M14.

When I updated to live 7 I started not only missing presets that i had previously but when I would go to load the drum samples they wouldnt load. Sometimes i could find them, sometimes I found multiple possibilities. Sometimes i didnt find them at all anyone have this problem?

When I open Live sometimes my midi controllers work and then sometimes they don't or they will start working and then stop. when upgrading do I have to keep all my previous versions or can I delete them? Or do I hav eto keep the original? dumb question i know

This may sound like a stupid question but can I delete all the previous versions(6.0,6.0.5,6.0.7) after downloading 6.0.1?

I've been having this problem where I have multiple midi tracks (12-15+) with different plug ins some of the tracks will just stop playing or making any noise. As of now i use 3 vst synths Absynth, fm8 and massive. I'd like to add more plug ins and be able to have atleast 20 some odd tracks 80 ...
