Weird sound issue on triggered samples
Hey guys! I am getting a weird flanger or phaser sound when I trigger multiple backing tracks for our live show.
I recorded everything in Logic then bounced down individual track stems to trigger in Ableton. The bass was recorded live using a direct input into the audio interface. The drums were ...

Re: Odd Phaser Sound On Warped Tracks
Hey Stromkraft! I record all the drums digitally. I really notice this weird phase sound on the guitars the most. Coincidentally there is only 1 guitar playing and it was recorded with 1 mic so I don't think it's a phase issue.

Odd Phaser Sound On Warped Tracks
Hey guys! I use Ableton to trigger long backing tracks for our live show. I record them in Logic and then bounce them down to an AIF file.
When I bring say a drum track into Ableton and warp it, it sounds fine. But when I trigger multiple warped tracks at the same time (ie drums, guitar, synth ...

Re: Midi controller confusion
In midi preferences, deactivate 'Remote' for the Korg.
Or change the midi channel of either your drum pad or keyboard. And then remap. They won't interfere.
Thanks, this worked perfectly!! Sorry it took me so long to reply, I was out of town and couldn't try your suggestion. I appreciate the ...

Midi controller confusion
Hey guys!
I use an AKAI MPD32 to trigger scenes as backing tracks. I also use a MicroKorg to play midi over top of those backing tracks.
My question is: If I assign D#2 on my drum pad to trigger a scene, how do I set it up so that if i hit D#2 on my MicroKorg, it does't launch that scene? Basically ...

Re: Using Logic's ES2 synth with Ableton during live show
Winterpark you are a genius!! I sampled the sound in Logic, then brought it into a sampler instrument in Ableton and bingo!!! Thank you so much for your advice!!

Re: Using Logic's ES2 synth with Ableton during live show
Oddstep, the problem with Rewire is that MainStage has to be the master and Ableton is the slave. I need the opposite of that.

Re: Using Logic's ES2 synth with Ableton during live show
Thanks for the reply Winterpark!
Yeah I thought about sampling the sound. Do you think that would be a good alternative?
The Metric Halo Interface is an interesting option but I'd rather not spend the money. Actually I CAN'T spend the money hahaha.
I feel like you've given me some hope!

Using Logic's ES2 synth with Ableton during live show
Hey guys,
I just got Ableton Live and I love it! I've been recording in Logic for years and wanted to use Ableton Live during my band's live shows.
Here's my problem :
I need to play the sounds that's I've created in Logic's ES2 synth during the live show. I've read all the posts about using ...
