Thanks for the responses. The only other piece of equipment I use is the midi keyboard which just goes straight into USB. The only downfall of me not using the soundcard is it the noise from changing between headphones and monitors. Im considering selling the AI as I don't think it suites my needs ...

I purchased a Saffire Pro 24 AI recently to add to my studio setup. To be honest, Ive literally used it twice and its not just collecting dust. Can someone remind me the benefits of using one of these things? I usually just use the headphone jack on my mac and go straight to the monitors. Yeah ...

Soundcard needs firewire. New mac doesn't have the port!

Hi there, just a quick question. Is there a way to connect my Focusrite Saphire Pro 24 sound card to my macbook without using firewire? The mac doesn't have this port...

If not, then i will have to sell and buy a similar one, so i have another question... Which one would you recommend thats similar ...

Well I got my money back! Barclaycard raised a chargeback and paypal didn't dispute it. So hopefuly the scammer has had his bank raided plus additional charges :)

your credit card should take care of you... just keep the dialogue open with PayPal and make sure that the credit card company knows the exact amount of the transaction... since they aren't even seeing it yet it's you telling them. that's a good thing and definitely the sweet spot.

Yes guys its been confirmed a scam, ebay have notified me, my only defense I have is my credit card company, who will look into it once the payment has been proessed and is on my statement.... :@

Technically I haven't spent anything yet as its just come from my newly opened credit card, I just ...

Hi there,

Its a pretty complicated situation. In a nutshell: I paid for a laptop on paypal and the seller 'accidentally' closed his account and says the funds are on hold and hes marked the item as dispatched.

The payment was made through my credit card > paypal > Sellers paypal. I sent 2 payments ...

After looking further into the artists im comparing to, its looking apparent that theres some ghost producing going on. Basically spoke to the guy behind the killer tracks, who kind of let a few things slip without mentioning any names. Explains a lot and has put my mind as ease :).
