Re: How Do YOU Record Hardware Synths?

I just create a patch i like on the synth and then record the audio from it into a clip or on to the timeline (arrangement view).
Sometimes i also record the midi data from when i play the synth aswell as the audio.

Re: DAC/AMP for Focal Spirit Professional (mixing and mastering)

Imo you don't need an extra DAC if you have an 2i4.

And the impedance of your Focal Spirit Professional is only 32 ?, so no need for an AMP after your 2i4.

Don't waste your money.

Since v9.2 Ableton is borderline useless for me

Has anyone else experienced a significant amount of crashes since 9.2 and slow performance in general, like starting Ableton, loading projects etc? I remember when 9.2 came out that i immediately took notice of a change in program stability. Before 9.2 i never felt Ableton was unstable or slow in an...

Re: Live 9.2 crashes – should I switch back to 9.1?!

I had a few crashes when i first updated to 9.2. Turns out it was because some of my vst's not being up to date. Once i updated them it's been all good except for NI Replika not working. If i were you i would try updating VST's, reinstalling Ableton 9.2. If none of that works, i would revert to 9.1 ...

Re: Does transposing affect signal/sound quality?

Transposing audio files changes the quality, but just transposing it a few semitones up or down shouldn't sound to bad. But i would still recommend rewriting in the desired key.

Re: Max for Cats – OSCiLLOT

I don't have Max4Live so i don't know much about it, but to me OSCillot looks to be kinda like Max4Live?
Can someone give me a quick explanation of the difference between OSCillot and Max4Live?
Thx

Parameter tweak sensitivity

I'm wondering if there is anyway you can change the default sensitivity on Ableton's knobs and sliders. I tend to hold down CTRL all the time when i drag with my mouse to tweak stuff because i feel the knobs and sliders in Ableton feel way to flimsy and inaccurate without holding down CTRL. Is there...
