Re: macOS CPU performance related to WindowServer

Interesting ! And interesting to know what are the side issues (laggy visuals, visual latency...).
If someone can share some experience...

Re: Chain Selector passes midi cc information...why??

Any news regarding the op problem ? I’m in the same situation and while using cc to control vsti (no mapping in live) theses cc are not filtered by the optional « filter midi Ctrl » in the chain selector

Re: Sending MIDI CC to active chain only?

Thanks for the advice, but the blue hand limitation is very problematic, specially when you use 2 or more keyboards/controllers (in a live context with 2 or more player) : then you need 2 blue hands and that’s not possible... it’s crazy the midi ctrl filter in chain selector doesn’t work in this sit...

Re: Sending MIDI CC to active chain only?

I'm interested about that too...

It's crazy the "chain selector filters MIDI ctrl" doesn't do nothing : it doesn't make any sense the CC messages are not filtered and are feeding all the chains... For live controling a specific device when you've got many vsti in a rack, it's a pain in the ass...

Re: Live 9 on mac - Help me read the crash logs

yep, for me too it was strange to hear I've got too many versions under the same folder, because I can't imagine not to record a dozen versions (at least) of each project. On my most used Live set at the moment (on which I had quite often some problems), I have around 22 different versions but the s...

Re: Live 9 on mac - Help me read the crash logs

I just received an answer from the Ableton Support. A very detailed and extensive answer by the way. It seems I've got some issues with my hard drive (80% full looks too much), with the way I save my files (too much versions into the same project folder - that seems strange to me, because I need to ...

Re: Live 9 on mac - Help me read the crash logs

Actually I made a bit the same dream last night, but the unicorn was eating large amount of dead computers while playing Mario Kart with Chris Cornell. I was trying to communicate with them but they completly ignored me... I guess I'm not a very practical person (some people say I'm completly dumb, ...

Re: Live 9 on mac - Help me read the crash logs

mmm. I hope so, but I sent 3 or 4 emails in january and they still didn't answer me. Maybe my crash logs don't show nothing clear to them, or maybe they were overbooked by the release of Live 10... But I hope they will answer because I don't understand nothing to what happens to me and I hope it's n...

Live 9 on mac - Help me read the crash logs

Hi there Since some time, I experience some random crashes of my Live sets. I use Live 9.6.7 on a macbook pro 15' mid-2012 with 16Gb RAM and a SSD. My OS is Sierra Last year (2017), Live was rock solid and was never crashing ! I was on Maverick at this time. Then, I updated to Sierra and I bought (a...

Re: 2017 MacBook Pro 16 inch -ridiculously tiny ssd

Hi there I'm in the same situation, using Live suite, Komplete 11 and plenty of other plugins on a 256 gb macbook pro. Actually it's ok for me : I didn't have to install anything on an external disk, but of course it means I'm not using everything from Komplete and from Live Suite (many crap there i...
