Installation fails on macOS Tahoe 26.5.1.

After entering my password, I get a dialog stating:
" The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

Do you use a window manager app, like Moom, Rectangle, or BetterSnapTool, that adds more features for laying out windows?

The folder "Ableton Project Info" was missing from the project folder.
Although this folder is empty, it is required for Live to locate all the files it needs.
Add the folder, and the project opens without issues.

You know you can also middle-click, right?

Cmd+click on macOS or Ctrl+click on Windows also opens in a new tab.

You can also install a browser extension like 'Always Open in New Tab'.

Live 12.4 contains this fix:
"The macOS Dock and menu bar now appear when moving the mouse cursor to the corresponding screen edge."
I don't have problems in 12.3.8. Maybe the bug was present in 12.3.5, and it was fixed in 12.3.6 or later.

Apparently, the listbox doesn't work well with Live. In my case, it is so bad that I had multiple crashes. The times Live did not crash, only one value was saved.

The first channel of the plugin is the top one, where you can select pre/post fx. Its not numbered as 1. This is for all multichannel vsts.


This does not apply to all multichannel plugins. Some plugins list channel 1 separately above channel 2. In that case, the top one is all channels combined.

It works the other way around: if you click a mapped parameter, the Status bar will tell "this device, in this track" is controlling this parameter. It's not ideal, I know, but that's what we have for the time being.

This only works for macro mappings.
