Don't you have any way of investigating what MIDI is sent from the Tyros? That would seem to the most natural starting point. Max For Live has a MIDImonitor and I think there should be some plug-ins or apps that could tap the MIDI flow as well. There at least used to be hardware devices that could ...

When working on say automating transposition of a clip for vocal pitch correction, it is often helpful to be able to quickly A/B between the original clip and the altered version. It would be great to have a simple ability to turn off the clip envelope for a click, and turn it back on again ...

I understand your point of view..... but I can't think of a cause and a solution at this moment, I'm sorry.

Hope someone else chimes in with a solution, or at least an explanation.

It.s possible, but i want the tyros to be the master, because my main device which i am using is the tyros. The Ableton part is secondary (and therefor the midi slave)..

My setup:
1 Yamaha Tyros as master clock/midi...
2 Ableton is midi slave for triggering sample shots warped to the tempo (from ext midi clock a.k.a the thyros)...
3 In ableton i have a midi track instrument which i control with an usb midi keyboard.

When i hit start on the tyros the style starts ...

Does anyone know why my midi instrument tracks are cut off abnormally when the external midi clock sending device has send a stop.

Yesss, not exactly correct, but this kind of did the trick. On the First arp I used 1/2 bar instead of 1 full bar as you suggested.

I tried using the Midi FX -> NOte Length, but I can set the length up to 1/4 note only. (But I need 4/4 a.k.a. 1 bar)
