Re: Live's looper effect sending feedback out to Lemur

Unfortunately no. I have resolved to just leaving my computer screen as the "visual feedback". I set my Live template to respond to Lemur, so that each Looper 'track' jumps into view when selected on the Lemur. I would in fact be MUCH sweeter if the visual feedback as to the Looper status (rec/play ...

This is an awesome start! Thank you so much. I will play around with it, and get back if I run into questions or roadblocks. Thanks again!

Re: Ableton Looper Effect

I don't think so. The recording of the original loop sets the loop length. As you've described, you can automate the loop length, and automate the behavior once that length has been achieved....all (and only) connected to the original recording. All of those automatic settings are there to ...

Live's looper effect sending feedback out to Lemur

Any ideas on how to use M4L to pull status information from a Live looper effect and distribute it out to an external device via midi or OSC....such as to a Lemur?

I have created a great Lemur template for controlling a Live Set which houses an array of loopers. I have each looper effect's multi ...

Re: Understanding Looping in Live Rheyne style...

I do something similar only without chains - I have 2 differently configured loopers in series and a switch that toggles one off and the other on - the aduio goes to the master and also to a track for recording clips when required.

So I assume you have two loopers in series on the same track ...

Re: Understanding Looping in Live Rheyne style...

Thanks so much for these responses! I do understand that I can set up a channel to receive audio from another channel (the one containing the Looper plugin).

I'm still somewhat unclear tho.... So is it a one looper channel to one audio/clip channel relationship, only? What I mean is.... Is there a ...

Understanding Looping in Live Rheyne style...

I'm a bit of an Ableton Live "Looping noob" (using Live's looper plugin)....but a seasoned Loop-ist overall, and reasonably familiar with Live as a DAW. Thanks in advance for any help.

At 7:01 in this Rheyne video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMSG4o66ZqU, Rheyne starts Live with an audio ...
