Re: How to get Microsoft Wavetable to work
I guess the problem is that the GS Synth always uses the Windows Default audio device as it's output, it does not send any audio into Live.

Re: Unable to activate my STANDARD license
You should have received a license serial number from Arturia, use this serial to add the license to your account on the product registration page: https://www.ableton.com/en/account/add_license/

Re: Ableton Live 12 Tuning Problem
Check out the spec for Ableton's tuning files: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/10998372840220-ASCL-Specification, your zero-eth note in the octave will always be your root note. You need to change the reference pitch to:
! @ABL REFERENCE_PITCH 4 0 432.0
This will make A your root note ...

Re: Can't set exact BPM
Just in case no one ever figured this out: in Live you don't double-click on the BPM value, you just click it once, so it is high-lighted. Then you can type in your desired value. Double-click in fact resets the tempo to the default 120 bpm.

Re: VST GUI on virtual desktops? Possible with Live12?
This is a technical thing with the OS and it's hierarchy of the windows - you can only move a complete app to another desktop, but not one of it's 'sub-windows'.

Re: Why are the new Operator presets tied to Live 12?
Some of the sounds in that pack (Operator20) are instrument racks, which I guess could use devices only found in Live 12.
Yes, that's it. I'm running 12 Standard with the Operator license I got with 10 Suite years ago, and the pack installed just fine. I just quickly went through all the rack ...

Re: Why are the new Operator presets tied to Live 12?
Has anyone checked if this is actually true? On the Operator product page it says, all you need is Live 9 Lite or higher.

Re: Upgrade from Suite to Standard edition : are we keeping packs and instruments ?
Thanks for your answers, and finally the right question is: Will packs or instruments purchased together in a Suite edition be treated as separate purchases ?
This would mean that they could still be downloaded and used in higher versions of Live in the Standard edition.
When Live 12 was ...

Re: mixer/interface routing for a live show
You can set the FX channel to pre-fader mode. This lets you set the volume of the instrument's channel to zero, while you will still have a signal on the FX channel.

Re: Request-Auto Number Tracks
Try this: type Ctrl-R, then right arrow, this will put the cursor at the end of the description without anything selected. You can also double-click somewhere to the right of the description, this will only select the text for overwriting, but not the "# ".

Live 12 tunings and Arturia Pigments?
The new tunings in Live 12 work perfectly fine with all MPE enabled plugins I tried - except Arturia's Pigments, where they have no effect at all. Strangely, Pigments behaves as it should when I use the Microtuning M4L effect. Am I missing something?

Re: Help! Is there any way to recover audio affected by sample rate mismatch issue?
1) Yes, that would be "just one little glitch", reporting a sample rate of 48 kHz and still recording at 44.1 kHz
2) Yes, if I did my math correctly, playing 44.1 kHz samples at 48 kHz should pitch up the audio by 146.7 cents - or 1.467 half steps.
