Re: microtonic max device

Re: Playing Unmastered Tracks

Above all, mastering is about making your tracks "listenable" on all kind of sound systems.
Doing a live gig is precisely the opposite.
A special gig, in a special room with a special sound system.

Take the chance to do no compromise (mastering), and make the best sound possible for THIS occasion ...

Re: device to scrub midi clip playhead position randomly?

Oops...
I thought it (the abstraction) would be automatically associated...
In fact, it's just a metro-transport combination in order to drive the thing :)

Here it is...

Re: device to scrub midi clip playhead position randomly?

Yes, It's actually possible using the API.

Maybe you should put an eye on the Live Object Model :)

By the way, I've done yesterday (not exactly finished...) a patch doing exactly what you're looking for

In case, I paste the code, if you want to get a look at it or use it, or do whatever you want ...

It's "metronome_button"... not "Metronome_Button"

Re: SY77 editor in M4L - Sysex problem

Thanks,

What is weird, is that M4L (and Live, I guess...) DOES receive sysex, it just not transmit them!!

SY77 editor in M4L - Sysex problem

Hello,

I don't know if it has been discussed elsewhere, so...

I was trying to build a sysex editor for my trusty-old-tenderly beloved SY77 YAMAHA
in M4L, and couldn't succeed to send sysex (although I could receive them...)
Just to verify, I copy/paste my patch in the standalone MAX version and ...

Re: How to realise a Bus in Live 8 ??

There are a few ways to do it. It depends the result you expect.
First, you could create an Audio Track, name it BUS if u want, and set the output of the tracks you want to the BUS track instead of MASTER (default). Don't forget to set monitor of the BUS track to IN to hear what comes in.
Or you ...

Hi,
anyway you I'm sure you can connect the digital IN to the OUT and
1)route your signal to those OUTs
2)route the digital OUT to the phone OUT

I'm doing this with a Projectmix -that has only 4 analog OUT and a digital one- since a long time and... no problem.

Good luck

You should put the third track in monitor IN mode to ear the 2 other one. I suppose that's what you want to do?
