I had purchased Sampler because I've been hungry to have a sustained loop mode to get more out of my orchestral samples... It allows me to make a flute note hold for longer for example. The regular Simpler does not allow this. I've been sitting with the possibility of getting Sampler ...
My setup includes a Push 2 and my Yamaha DGX-650. They're both great and really robust but I'm looking to have one or two MIDI programmable expression pedals (0-127) that I can MIDI map to whatever parameter and adjust while I'm playing... Both my keyboard the Push 2 don't support expression pedals ...
UPDATE: for those of you interested in this topic, I followed up with Ableton support and received an answer. They informed me the push is capable of sustain pedals (ie 0 or 1) but are not able to accommodate a MIDI programmable expression pedal. Shucks
I am really keen on finding an ultrabook that is on par with a MacBook Pro. I fully understand Apple is the standard for music production because of solid components and optimized software but having grown up on Windows I'm intimately familiar with it, and the idea of learning iOS sounds very ...
I bought an expression pedal (Moog EP-3) with the hopes it could give MIDI values from 0-127 and I could map that to specific parameters to modify the instrument I'm playing.... However I come to find out that it is not compatible with the push, it simply gives binary MIDI inputs. LAME ...
I'm trying to slice a song manually into more than 64 slices, but it appears the push can only map 64? Is there a way around this? Seems sort of arbitrary to me...
I have a few MIDI controllers that I have set as different inputs for different sounds. What I'm hoping to do is have my small 25 key keypad be chained to two instruments on an instrument rack as a bass. But my issue is I want to have instrument #1 playing a C3 and instrument #2 playing a C2 - while ...
Greetings... I'm playing around with a wurlitzer electric piano VST. It appear my keyboard has a low sensitivity. If the range of sensitivity is 1-127 it feels like I can only achieve 1-64 comfortably, and to hit the harder notes for flavor I really need to press hard. Is there a way to adjust the ...
Is it possible to use the repeat function (ie 1/8 note repeat) of Push2 but share it with my MIDI keyboard? I'm sure I could figure out how to do it via keyboard/clicks but I would like to use the Push2 as an interface for quicker switching during performance. Thanks in advanced :mrgreen ...
What do you mean with "sharing with your midi keyboard"?
I suppose you could set up a routing in which midi that came in from the push gets sent out to other midi devices, but that's more Live than Push related.
Would I be able to digitally 'daisy chain' from my midi keyboard (midi input) to ...
