Sampler feels like step DOWN from Simpler in two substantial ways:

1) You cannot warp within Sampler (which you can with Simpler)

2) You cannot visualize or crop the sample with a Push 2 (which you can do with Simpler)

Seems weird... because I genuinely want to use Sampler

My setup includes a Push 2 and my Yamaha DGX-650. They're both great and really robust but I'm looking to have one or two MIDI programmable expression pedals (0-127) that I can MIDI map to whatever parameter and adjust while I'm playing... Both my keyboard the Push 2 don't support expression pedals ...

UPDATE: for those of you interested in this topic, I followed up with Ableton support and received an answer. They informed me the push is capable of sustain pedals (ie 0 or 1) but are not able to accommodate a MIDI programmable expression pedal. Shucks

Yea but it seems to have a limit of 64 slices?

I'm trying to slice a song manually into more than 64 slices, but it appears the push can only map 64? Is there a way around this? Seems sort of arbitrary to me...

What do you mean with "sharing with your midi keyboard"?

I suppose you could set up a routing in which midi that came in from the push gets sent out to other midi devices, but that's more Live than Push related.
