The Expression Control device can do this. Find the 'random' header, map it to your preferred parameters, set limits/curves accordingly. Every time a note plays, a different value is sent.

I'm not sure how old your version of Live is, but in Live 12 (and probably 11) under Theme & Colors in Settings, there's a setting called "Clip Color" and you need to set it to "Track Color". This will automatically set clips to the track color

Well, I figured overlapping notes was impossible in AL, so what I had to do was map the same drum to a different key in the vst, then copy the notes from the original to the new key. When you stop a track with an effect such as a reverb or a delay with a long tail, the sound can go on forever if you have a high delay time or a feedback....stuff like that.
