Hi. Something really weird is happening. This is a new MBP install of Live 12. A few 3rd party plugins. Anytime when i've worked in a project and Quit, Live is showing the Beachball for at about 3o seconds.. Then finally it quits.

I wish Live had this functionality already.

When i close Live 10 after working on a project it seems to close just fine, the app closes wiithout errors.
But then when i open the Task Manager and look at Processes, i see "ableton live 10 suite.exe" and "Ableton Index.exe" are still running.

Any tips on what i can do to find the problem?

Throwing a curveball here.. Win 7 64 user.
Also experiencing performance problems with 10.1.13. I get freezes, it now takes ages it seems to access Favorites, save/load Racks, save/load projects. Rolled back to 10.1.7 (which i updated from), and no more problems.

10.1.13 may have a cross platform ...

Agreed. Like the OP explains, i'm straining my eyes in Live 10 because of the same reasons. Working in Live 9 arrangement view is way easier on the eyes.

Be careful updating using the "Replace" option if you have custom Themes and Scripts. The installer deletes everything.

In Live 10 the window is a little too small, in 9 it's fine.

I'm looking for a simple, clear peak meter. (Not VU.)
Ideally put on the Master and have it Always-On-Top, so i can keep an eye on it all the time.

It's for use in the Arrangement mode btw.

In the Max 8 tutorial it lets you play with an example granular synth, a simple one with a few samples.
Is there a way to have it separate as a m4l instrument?

Love to experiment with it some more in my projects, but i can't find it outside of the tutorial.

Cutting / deleting etc is possible in automation mode, but they made it so that you have to select the very top of the clip.

Dear Ableton, you need to fix this.
Maybe make it halfway in the clip? Bottom half = select automation only, upper half = select clip.

Anyone knows how to change the color palette in Live 10?
You know, the colors that you can assign to tracks and clips.

I can edit the overall Theme, but i don't know how to change the palette colors in the Theme.

Why do some Grooves affect the midi note lenght? Many times when i commit a groove, i see some notes change length.
Am i missing a "Lenght" percentage tab in the Groove Pool?

Maybe the Ableton Index is still scanning heavily?
Are all Live's Audio settings in 64 bit the same as in 32 bit?
