for who it may help, i setup a little macro with jitbit macro recorder and bound the macro to a hotkey (f5) for example
the macro looks like this (image)
and it's basically a 1 key pause/resume
so you can hit f5 once and it'l pause, and hit ...

I'm hoping someone might recommend some great speakers for a home desktop PC,

Can't be too large, my desk space is sort of limited, that's the only thing. I have space for a sub under my desk and about let's say about 6-10 inches (width) speaker size, (height doesn't matter)

I was trying to find a plugin or something that would simulate how lower-end speakers (like phone speakers) would play back my track, so i could master it
to sound better... couldn't find anything of the sort.
