I want to take all the tracks that are playing and slow them down to a stop like a record, then start the song back up again with the record kind of sound...

Any ideas on how to do this?

Does anyone know how to create a similar vocal sound or effect that was used in Eminem's song Loose Yourself? If you listen closley to it, it's not his raw voice, but more of a tin sound or something like that.

Any ideas that can lead me in the direction?

Well I found a tutorial for sound designers that should be able to draw the volume, but the movie shows an Arrangement part? I'm using Ableton 6.0.3 where do I find this?

I have a .wav file loop for drums and I want to pick out a couple drum hits in it and adjust the volume. Possibly add some compression.

Not the entire file just certain drum beats in it...

How can I do this?

That was it, it defaulted to 24 bit, I just changed it to 16 and vola...

I'm running Ableton 6 (6.0.3), I exported a song in wav format, It plays just fine and sounds great, but when I open Nero and try to make a music cd it errors out saying "The file format is not supported"?

What gives? How can I burn this to listed in the car?

I guess that's my question then... Take the song "Pop goes the weasel" by 3rd bass. They did a remix of the old Peter Gabriel "Sledgehammer". Now the drums are completely different... So did they just "recreate the sound" on a synth and play it?

I want to know how I can sample out parts of songs. For example an early 90's song by 3rd Bass sampled sledgehammer.

I guess my question is how did they do this? Or did they just remake all the parts?

I just had one done about 4 months ago. There's really nothing to it, a bit soar for a while, but well worth it.

I've been writing in Ableton for a little while now (R&B, Techno, Rap) etc... But need help with my project. I have some good material, I just need someone that knows this application inside out, and can slice and dice what I'm looking for.

I can pay a little, but looking for someone who has time ...

When I play my song in Ableton it sounds great. But when I export it to an mp3 it sounds like a tin piece of crap? I basically use the default settings...

What is the trick?

I'm using a condenser mic, and can record vocals just fine, my question is how do I apply compression, EQ, etc... on my vocal track. The raw vocals sound like crap, how do I get more of what you hear on the radio.
