I just loaded a project up in Live and my APC40 mk2 lit up like a christmas tree!

For those who didn't know...the colours went all muted in Ableton 10, which might not be a big deal, but it meant the colours didn't light up as brightly on the APC40 as they could and everything looked kinda pastel ...

I'd like to request a feature...namely being able to double click on a track name to rename it. Almost every other DAW does this and I think it would be a great workflow addition. Instead of having to select the pop-up menu and then rename a track, to be able to double click on it and rename it ...

Yup. There is certainly some logic to that. A lot of club PA's are kind of iffy when it comes to stereo, some have it, others have the speakers in some kind of array that might mix and match L and R channels and some are entirely mono. TV's - generally stereo now but some are still mono, phones ...

The thing is, it used to work fine...we ran the live show from 8 and 9 for years and the colours matched on the APC. Now with the new palette they don't...whatever changed between versions broke it.

Yup, bumping this. My plugs are really well organised in Cubase. I can select different projects, folders, sub folders, so I can access those plugs I want to use for whatever project I'm working on really quickly and easily. Right now, it's kinda basic.

This is a big one for me. I really don't like the new pallette in Live 10, I can't use the bold colours I want for tracks, and the new palette looks awful on the MPC40 mkII. We've run our live show off Live for years and the old palettes were much better, esp for the APC under stage lighting. I'm ...

A step sequencer would be great. I know there are VST's that can do this, but I've never found one I really like.

+1 to this as well. Being able to run VST's in rewire would be really useful.

And also, that the colours match on the APC 40 mk2. Everything has gone pastel in Live 10.

Oh yup. That would be really useful, although could you not put the sample in Simpler which does allow MIDI mapping of detune?

Yup yup! I'll second this. I can do this in Cubase so why not in Live? And also for the APC 40 mkII to accurately match those colours.

Just upgraded to Live 10. I have an APC40 MkII controller and the track/clip colours are really strange in this version.
