When i want to drag a breakpoint on a clip in arrangement view without enlarging the track size it is way harder to precisely move that point than with enlarged clip because of the proportionally smaller space.

This drives me crazy. It is not hardware or OS released. I tried it on Mac and PC with different mouses.
The pen mode solves that problem but when holding alt / option to adjust the Q of a directly selected filter in EQ 8, the movements are way too fast and unpredictable, so it is a tradeoff ...

nob Control is great but more than 300€ for a big knob is a lot, even with its fancy wooden finish and good build quality.
