Re: Shut Down while automatization make truoble
Try opening Ableton in SAFE MODE to perform the tasks in your post:
To open Ableton Live in Safe Mode on a Mac, hold down the Option/Alt key on your keyboard while launching the application .
This will bypass the plug-in scan, which is useful for troubleshooting if Live is slow to start ...

Once that is in place it doesn't matter how far you move up or down the set, you will always be able to see where the clip ...

Mid-Side Question
Hello,
I am trying to achieve a proper mid-side balance for a set.
I have achieved this with the exception of a couple instruments.
For them, I am having trouble understanding a placement issue.
I have one track that is panned hard left and one that is panned hard right.
They both live inside a ...

Re: Edit MIDI value for sustain pedal in an existing MIDI clip
Thanks, but, unless I misunderstood your answer, I think that may be for Live 11.
I finnaly located it in 12 by:
- Click on the MIDI clip.
- Select 'Envelopes' from the upper center of the lower section.
- At the lower left of the MIDI clip is a set of choosers.
- Select 'MIDI Ctrl' from the ...

Edit MIDI value for sustain pedal in an existing MIDI clip
Hello,
I have been reading the manual and searching the web for the last couple hours trying to figure out how to add sustain information to an existing MIDI clip. I have seen a fairly straight-forward example for Live 11, but nothing very clear for Live 12.

Re: Single track in red, but master track at -3db
Thanks for the replies.
Turning off Auto Warp solved the distortion issue.
I appreciate it. Now I can get back to working in a single DAW.

Single track in red, but master track at -3db
I have been looking at this issue for a number of hours and I am starting to get a bit confused. I would appreciate some help understanding signal flow(?), though I thought I already understood it.
