Re: Better Performance with Live 11
Some of the basics would be:
1. When possible, render audio tracks so you aren't running the effects in real time.
2. Use the lowest sample rate / bit rate that sounds "good enough" to you.
3. If you are streaming samples from an HD, make sure it's up to the task. Some drives are ok for storage but ...

Yes, it's easy. Just go to YouTube and search "Ableton simpler drum rack slice" - lots of good videos on how to do it!

Re: Anyone else getting this slow plugins loading on 12.0.10?
Agree with x3000. Another (potentially faster) sorting strategy for finding the culprit is to work in the other direction.
Meaning take away (move to the temp folder) half of the plugins, and see if that solves it. If so, then you know the culprit is in that half. If not, swap the two halves by ...

Re: How do I treat acustically My bedroom?
You'll find lots of blogs/videos on this. The simple version is that since your space is not designed for acoustics (I assume), instead of optimizing for "liveness" the better strategy is to "deaden" or reduce reflections (meaning echos or sound waves bouncing around). In other words, use materials ...

Indiana Ableton Users?
Are you a music creator using Ableton and living in Bloomington, Indiana or nearby? Me too. I'm thinking about hosting some Ableton user meetups. Where we can make connections and talk about music production with Ableton. Maybe with some live performances, demos, etc. if people want to share their ...

@cids - have you experimented with M4L? Might be some ways to accomplish what you want via an M4L plugin or by doing some programming yourself. Just an idea!

Re: Sample Rate & Playback
I think you'll have to provide more details before someone can help with this. For instance, what is the hardware configuration? Are you increasing the sample rate before or after you create the project? Are there existing audio clips in the project that are at 44.1?
An obvious guess is that maybe ...
