Would really be of great benefit for ableton to partner with squarp/hapax or torso software teams to rework workflow for push3.
Have been really patient with the dev cycles and updates thus far but I feel like push3 is too literal of an ableton extension and doesn’t bear any intuitive performative ...

Would be cool af to have expanded display output over the push3 usbc port with pre configured display presets that can be triggered during a performance.

Instead of loading expressive chords via packs after it has been installed, load it as a max for live device onto your track. Once loaded you can click the swap button to select chord sets.

It took me hours to figure it out and therein lies the biggest issue with push.

+1 on a much needed standard feature!
in the meantime any chance you could do a step by step of this current rtmidi setup? its the only think holding me back from going fully standalone and would love to give it a try.

Along with the expressive chords and auto filter updates -- dare I say it feels like ableton might be listening and giving us more push some decent baseline performative features. Push might find a spot back on the desk if we keep it going!

this is so fucking sad -- tbh I find the instability of using m4l and workarounds a drag and hoped ableton would prioritize native implementations to push by now.

Yes, if I leave it unplugged and sitting on a shelf the battery will drain almost completely in just a few weeks. It’s happened so many times that I grab it to take to a friends house to jam and it’s completely dead even though I haven’t used it since last full charge.

What would you put on your top3 features wishlist for push3?

Push3 seems are still focussed on too literally in operating live software using push as a controller territory and doesn't feel like a naturally inspiring musical instrument to play.
Once the software devs rethink from first principles ...

really need ableton to prioritize rtp midi and osc features over both wifi and ethernet.
