That is plain stupid.

It is true that if you have 192Khz converters they will work slightly better at 96Khz. But the difference is small. If they are good converters they will sound good and if they are not so good, they will sound kind of the same at any rate. You get a little less performance ...

I was thinking on buying it too. But I cant decide between the Micron or the MicroKorg. Any recomendation?

I have the echo indigo io and was quite happy with it untill I started recording proper stuff through the in. I dont know why but the sound I get is bassy and like it looses part of the stereo, very centered. I would recomend to get a usb or firewire soundcar, maybe with the echo dj for playing ...

Try the presonus firebox (www.presonus.com). Lots of conectivity and the best quality/prize. Watch out with the new M-audio products. Ive heard a lot of complains with the drivers lately.
