but i do like the mod matrix in the ion... then again... i can do all that with absynth.. i have no real need for it. i just dont know. i'll be moving off to college here in a few months, and if i sell the ion, i'll only have an O2 to work with (2 octaves)... then again, i LOVE the ...

i have an ion, and i dont really use it. would it be a good idea to trade for a studio electronics SE-1? they are both in perfect condition.

i like the keyboard and poly of the ion, but also the analog sound of the se-1... hmmm

any ideas?

hmmm, well that midi utility is real cool! (saves me some time maping with external controlers...)

but how would i tell these programs to send out again on different ports? i've only started useing max and processing like 4 days ago. but i get things fast.. do you know of a way to copy and paste ...

does anyone know how to map osc / tuio messages to 2 apps? i want to have one instance of reactivision controling both ableton live and reactivision.

i'm runing live through max/msp, so it's all osc. (i'm not running reactivision in midi mode, although i can.)

You'll need a MIDI to CV converter as well... The PCB is $30 electronic parts will be $30-60 ...

ok, i found something for anyone who cant get it to work!

to use it with midi / ableton, you MUST put the [midi.xml] file in your HOME folder. NOT in the midi folder that they give you.

so, it's actually quite easy, just get the program from the reactable site, then unzip it and stick it in your ...

HOW DID YOU DO IT??? are you funing mac or pc? how did you get live to recognize osc data? is there a vst? or something? i launch live then reactivision then what? how are you maping things in ableton ...

i know that this is not really something related to live, but i do really want to sell this synth.

wellllll, at least with my fw410, there is a setting that shows the individual outputs as different sound cards. in the m audio program thing.

wow, yah. this is a HUGE problem for me. sounds the same as what you guys are haveing... only, i am runing an intel mac. i cant vst custom folder to work at all.
