A simple way to determine if high peaks are your problem is by looking at the waveform of your exported (and reimported) track. If it looks like this: .....|....|.|...|..... then your violins are probably hiding in the .... parts, and the | 's are short ("transient") sounds that stick out way ...

I have no problem with tracks going into the red. And in fact, I did check "normalize" in my export renderings.
As I said in a previous post, by adjusting the pan of the 2 violin tracks, I can make them "stand out" better. But I have to do export tests on this ...

I have tested several export settings (16, 24, 32...) but there is no change.
Generally speaking, the sound of the song is lower than in Ableton. But it's especially the violin track that is really quieter (we can hardly hear it). These are STACATO violins from Analog Lab V.

I just finished a song on Ableton Live 12 Intro but when I export the file (Wav) I can't get a rendering identical to what I hear in Ableton (via Scarlett 2i2).
My violin track in particular seems completely behind.
Do you see what could be a problem...?
