I would like to be able to generate breakpoints at a song position for all automate-able parameters in a m4l device.

Is it possible to generate breakpoints for envelope automation with m4l externals ?

If so, any pointers much appreciated !

Which seems very messy indeed … and the other way around, midichannels accepting soundinput from ableton audio or bus channels would be much appreciated as well .. (back to the old pluggo bus for now :) ) !

welll with proper i mean, these solutions are very nice, but they are workarounds in a way ..
would be great to be able to feed the sound source into analog for instance ..
but, i'll use max4live and fix it custom, no sweat, just wondered if i was overlooking something obvious ..

yes thanks, i've got that setup working no prob…

now i'd like to trigger a 'proper' adsr envelope with midi notes from a midiclip ..
would be optimal if the adsr points could be controlled with midi in real-time as well ..

Exactly the same problem here. This time with three different BCR2000 machines. All of them exhibit the same problem. Power it up, works for x amount of seconds, then stops working. We've been having some serious problems while trying to sync a couple of macboos and -pro's together trough MIDI.
