Re: New iMac, Macbook, Mac Mini
So if Live can use a dual core, what happens when it comes across 4?
Does it just sound better but Live won't be able to make use of the additional cores?

Hello there :D
looking to work with creative (& art based) producers in the London area.
or anywhere if working remotely
I have finished writing a huge project which has a mind-bending theme of Lewis Carroll & Quantum Physics. Although the theme is unusual I have a catalogue of wonky/scarey/funny ...

anyone got any ideas?

Not essential at all
have never managed to find the mysterious Harpsichord (which is really what I bought it for)
Sampletank is much better (but won't) work with 6)
For all the weight of samples it still sounds very plastic
grumble grumble grumble

Oh dear
copy and pasting VERY slow again
(even on a full spec intel mac)
as well as moving clips, duplicating clips
a small thing I know, but odd nevertheless
and the faderfox support? a quip, or is that true?
so much hardware, vst software and 3rd party instruments have fallen into obsolescence with Live6

I have tried the demos
…of throat and the other vocal plugins and I found them to be VERY disappointing. Was drawn by the supposed ability to create a choir from one voice. But it failed dismally in this respect and all the others too…
And it's bloody expensive…
