i find that clock timing drift happens with some midi interfaces but not with others. i.e. it happens when i use the midi out from the motu ultralite, but not when i use my midisport or uc33 midi out. maybe you can borrow someone's midi interface and see if it makes any difference... what the easiest way to covert midi notes to program change messages in ableton. I am using remote 25 if that helps. sorry for not rtfm

never did, that'd be a bad feature. I am sure it did when 7 came out first , actually that would be a good feature for a studio but not good for a live setup. so be good if you could turn it on and off depending on what your at because accidents do happen when your playing around and when it does i...

Yes it did at some stage. if anything went way into the red. like a wrong mouse move when using redux for example. I am sure it did anyways

Ableton 7 when it came out firist it had a volume cut off feature that if the volume went to mental it would cut off. is this gone now or is the a way to turn it on?

direct X do not work with ableton and as for your vsts you could make a new VST folder anywhere you like and you could copy the contents of you logic vsts to the new folder that should work. then point ableton to that folder
