Re: lets talk SSD hard drives
Kind of a side note, but where do most people keep their Library, sets and samples? I'm pushed for space to keep my Library and sets on the internal spinning disk of my laptop, so if I switched to an SSD the space problem would be even worse. Also, I find Live to be insanely slow when performing sea...

A decent file manager
A file manager to organise audio files in the library and other locations on my pc that doesn't take half an hour to do a search

Re: Amp reivews
This is completely unrelated to the sound Amp produces (which I'm a bit underwhelmed by) but the lack of a tuner is pretty annoying. I appreciate the plugin is designed to be as simple as possible but I can't see how you can record a guitar without tuning up precisely first.

Re: Thankyou for 8.1.3
I've sent 2 bug reports today. This version doesn't seem any better than previous releases

favourite new 8.1.3 feature is 'report a bug'
so much for 8.1.3 being fixed. I've submitted my bug so we'll see what happens, but tbh this isn't looking good

Re: "POLL" How Many Still Use Live 7? How Many Using Live 8?
I always get sucked in upgrading through beta testing. I start a piece in the beta version that I convince myself that I have to upgrade to finish. With Live 8 I learn my lessons tho seeing as I've had it a year and it still crashes almost daily

Did you sort this problem? I'm currently looking in to getting a MIDI foot controller and would like to know how you got on with this.

Re: Killer iPad app
I use VNC on my iPhone and yes it is VERY laggy. Also with the iPhone screen there isn't a way to drag items around, you can only click on them. Another issue is that VNC only mirrors the current desktop at the same resolution, you can zoom in and out but it isn't very usable for something like Live.
