- All Live 7 boxes come with the EIC 2 content (some GB of Live Packs)
- An EIC serial number is required to install the EIC 2 Live Packs. This serial number is not included in boxed Upgrades to Live 7

andydes has got it right. If you are eligible for the free Live 7 download, and have Live 6 and EIC 1, you can upgrade to the Live 7 boxed (includes EIC 2) instead for an additional 30 EUR/40 USD.
