Does Ableton respond to email?

Post by Verbal » Tue Dec 11, 2007 3:35 pm

I've wrote them two emails in the past week about upgrading and I still haven't received a reply. Are they not interested in my sale? It's frustrating.

I think they are just busy. I sent them an email 5 or so days ago w/ my educational Live 7 Suite boxed order form and junk, but haven't received any sort of reply yet. They are probably just booked. New product. Tons of PR to do. Same ol' junk.

They responded to me before Live was released. It took a couple of days.

Understand they just released this thing and probably have an assload of email to reply to. You might have better luck calling them.

yeah call if you need an urgent reply. and check your spam folder, they're normally pretty fast on the email, like 0.5-2 days...

I don't understand why people are so scared of using the phone. This also goes for text messenging addicts. I'll often send emails at first too but when it becomes a major annoyance or emergency then I'll call.

I've been waiting for customer care for a week now.

This is the first time I've ever had to wait more than a day for them.

Their support domain in actually on one of the European black-hole lists. I had to go pull their mail out of my spam discards.

I emailed customer service and got a response the next day. Then replied to the person who answered my question and got a reply within minutes. Apparently, when I ordered boxed version + Session Drums, the drums were not sent, however they checked and sent it out that day(although I haven't recieved it yet, I do have a tracking number) I must say through my experience, customer support has been outstanding. Thanks Ableton Support!

It took them over a week for mine. Not a complaint. Just reassuring you that they're coming...

I've been waiting a while.
I wonder if they have a priority system going on.

means that they are part of an internet region that has been black-listed for sending spam. not on purpose though. a domain is a server or pretty large computer that stores information about hundreds of websites and email addresses. possibly one or several email addresses, not related to ableton, have been sending masses of spam, and because of that they must likely have been added to a spam black list to prevent all these unsolicited emails from cluttering your inbox... or something like that

:D Personally, never had anything but great, prompt support. Sometimes within minutes! I imagine they are really busy, but 5 - 12 days sounds like spam filter to me, or some other problem.
