after reading this thread i think the best would be to allow some users (dedicated veterans, as someone said) or some abletons (if they have the time an resources to) to moderate these forums a bit.

Hi Ti-groove,

I'm using 24bit since I've bought a 24bit capable sound device (ca 3/4 year ago). Well, not audible, maybe, but if you build some channel strips, override your sound with fx I think it's always better to give the fx the most information to modulate the signal. Dunno if it's true ...

make the tips tricks & general & bugs forum only for registered users (with forum account).

make an open forum, where all could post what they want. if it is going to be too crazy in there close it. it's like a marketing test ;)

a separate forum for posting flyers/live LIVE gig announcements would ...

ask ableton if you could be the moderator of this forum and lock or delete these senseless posts to keep the (in my mind) great quality of this forum alive. don't open a new forum! let's keep our informations here! it's the base of all noise !
