Ableton Forum

My only suggestion is to do research and make sure whatever drive you are looking at does not have any sort of auto-sleep rule... I had a (admittedly cheap) Seagate that had a sleep mode hardwired into the unit... and every time it sat idle (maybe 5-10 minutes) it would have to spin up... not good ...

I got a Presonus Firepod back when they were $600 and love it, now you can find it for $400, I'd buy another (and chain them) if I had the $$$. I think there was a thread questioning the headphone cuing recently, FYI.

Same thing here, recommending the program a lot to my peers (in my case, worship musicians at churches), and I always have to warn them about the unmoderated nature of what is generally a great forum. It's unprofessional.
