i'd still like the feature as i prefer using the toggle launch mode, but yours is a nice workaround.

If you're doing it live, though, I would lose the RC and use a simple footswitch with looper in live 8.

You can do everything with looper that you can with the rc-20 and more, and there is no need to sample it and then make it the master clip. Just seems to me like a lot of unnecessary steps...

I'm also having this problem. I set the "current set's groove pool" to zero, but clips keep grooving.

Of course the monome is waaaay cooler. But I've been using the launchpad with mlr and other monome apps and it works really well. And you even have a few more buttons you can assign to stuff in mlr (record, next preset etc...). And you can easily change back to session view and control live at the ...

In samplers global screen, down in the right corner you can set the number of voices. Set it to 1 and Bob's your uncle!
