The system crashed again. The computer system had seemed stable. Read my last post for everything that I've done in trying to get this fixed.

Live & Windows system Crashing? Related I don't know

I'm having some kind of Virus problem. Please it is still not solved. I have 3 hard drives. One drive for the system, one drive for VST's Abe Library instruments, , etc., and one for Audio recordings (Live Sets).

The files would vanish but the folder structure would stay intact in the beginning ...

Send them through a guitar amplifier. Depends on the sound and what your looking for. Consider if you've ever a heard the sound of an electric guitar recorded direct before it goes to an amplifier you can see it does a lot to make an enhanced sound.

It's looks very interesting building a specialized controller. I've been trying to follow this from the links that someone here put to midibox.org. I tried to register, but I don't know that it worked or not. I see this message on the registration screen.

Certainly realize that Live is an excellent tool for learning. Take your favorite song and loop section to section or small as you need. Learn to use your ear. Google for chords of popular songs. Songbooks with chords, etc. Tune song to your piano.

Select all (Control A Wins or Command A for Macs). Control or Command Delete. This deletes all the time highlighted which will get markers, tempo map etc.

In the Arrange View. Command 4 to turn off the automatic beat alignment.

Highlight beat area. Cmd +Shift+L to Loop the beat.

Size the Loop Bars until it Loops correct.

Cmd E to make the Clip then Cmd J to consolidate the Clip.



Click Into Clip View.

Set Loop On; Set the Loop Size to the new ...

When I run Live 6 by itself everything is fine. When running Reason 3.04 I have to switch in preferences to MultiCore/MultiProcessor Off and MultiCore/MultiProcessor Rewire Off otherwise the midi timing goes completely off as well as gaps. DFH always looked pretty interesting. I have Propellerhead Reason which I really like. So the Reason Drum Kit works well for me. I use the Reason Drum Kit for midi drums playback. I like it because it has lots of samples velocity layered.

I do all the midi sequencing and editing in Live though ...
